- Graded with NSW Referee's Association 1983
- City v Country under 19's 18 May 1986
- First grade debute 19 May 1986 Wests v Cronulla Lidcombe Oval
- Retired 29 October 2003
- Record 393 First grade games 1986 - 1995 1997 - 2003
- Sacked from ARL in April 95 for signing with Super League. Commenced refereeing again in a very controversial opening NRL game of 1997 Brisbane v Manly.
- Record 10 Grand Finals 89, 90, 91, 97, 98, 99, 2000, 01, 02, 03 The seven consecutive 97 to 03 is also a record. (Darcy Lawler 6 straight)
- Record 21 State of Origins 91(2) 93 (1) 94 (2) 98 (3) 99 (1) 2000 to 2003 (12) (Dave Manson 10 games) The 12 straight run is another phenominal record.
- 2 Super league NSW v QLD Games in 1997. This included the longest game in rugby league history 103 minutes played at ANZ Stadium Brisbane. These 2 games have not been included in the ARL's State of Origin tally.
